Eucalypt Forest

The dry eucalypt forest at this site has an open canopy so lots of sunlight can enter. There is a lot of spikey ground cover and the leaf litter is quite dry. Look at our bilingual forest characteristic checklist to compare this with the wet eucalypt forest in Lambert Rivulet. See if you can find eucalyptus viminalis (white gum) and eucalyptus globulus (blue gum). A EucaFlip identification kit may be helpful.
