Life Inside a Log.
In Lambert Gully there is a fascinating world of plants and logs growing and breaking down in the plant cycle. A tree becomes a rotting log because insects eat the wood until the tree weakens and it finally falls down. On the outside a rotting log just looks simply ordinary. But on the inside we found some worm traces, a cocoon, fungi and a millipede. A rotten log decomposes and drops all its nutrients into fresh new soil for plants to grow in.
Kehidupan di batang kayu busuk
Sebuah pohon menjadi batang kayu busuk karena kayunya dimakan oleh serangga sampai pohon menjadi lemah dan akhirnya terjatuh. Di dalam batang kayu busuk kami mendapat cacing, kokon ,jamur dan kaki seribu. Batang kayu busuk yang dibusukkan mejadi tanah subur untuk tumbuhan.
